What is PEG Ratio?
The PEG ratio divides a stock’s P/E ratio by its expected earnings growth rate. It adjusts the P/E for how fast the company is expected to grow.
Why it matters
A PEG near 1 is often read as fair value for the growth expected, but it depends on growth estimates that can be wrong.
