Dollar-Cost Averaging

What is Dollar-Cost Averaging?

Dollar-cost averaging means investing a fixed amount of money on a regular schedule, regardless of the price.

Why it matters

You automatically buy more shares when prices are low and fewer when they are high. It removes the pressure of timing the market, though it does not guarantee a profit.
